SIG Plans for Major Expansion – Double Agents in 2017

Charleston, SC (June 1, 2017) – Looking to capitalize on its increasing transaction volume, Sands Investment Group (SIG), one of the fastest growing net lease firms in the nation, has announced plans to double its broker count this year.

To achieve this goal, SIG has hired Carrie Hegenderfer as Head of Recruiting, a newly-created role for the firm. She brings to this position more than nine years of progressive experience in recruitment, client relationship development, operations, and process analysis.

“We created this role because while we’ve had strong organic growth over the years, we’re now at a place where we have the corporate infrastructure and platform in place to aggressively and proactively grow our broker count across all of our office locations,” said Liz Sands, COO at Sands Investment Group, “It’s one of our biggest priorities for 2017.”

As Head of Recruiting, Hegenderfer will recruit and hire brokers for all offices, including Charleston, Atlanta, Austin and Santa Monica. She will also lead the initiative of opening offices in the markets where the company is looking to strategically expand.

Prior to joining SIG, Hegenderfer was the lead recruiter for Cielo Talent Solutions where her client base included Comcast. She placed over 200 sales professionals focusing on five national markets including the West Coast and Southeast territories. She also previously held positions with CareerBuilder where she successfully placed over 600 people during her tenure. Hegenderfer received her bachelor’s degree from Truman State University and her master’s degree from the University of Iowa.
