We immediately determined that the Dickeys BBQ brand and Operator were thriving in their first 2 locations in the Permian basin. We approached the Dickeys Operator and were thoroughly impressed with his operational practices, experience, management style and capabilities as a Franchisee for Dickeys and offered him the opportunity to grow the Odessa site. From there we identified another pad site in the Claydesta Business area of Midland. This area was ripe for additional restaurant opportunity with strong day-time population. We were able to close on that property with the help of SIG as their team worked tirelessly to push the sale across the finish line.
