SIG Named One of South Carolina’s Fastest Growing Companies

COLUMBIA, SC (OCT. 24, 2017) – Sands Investment Group was chosen as one of South Carolina’s 25 Fastest Growing Companies. The winners were honored at a luncheon at the Columbia Marriott on October 17.

Sands Investment Group (SIG) is a commercial real estate brokerage firm that specializes in the buying and selling of net lease properties for private investors and institutions across the United States. Since its founding in 2010, SIG has closed over 1,000 transactions worth more than $3 billion in 48 states.  Advisors with the company currently have over $600 million in active inventory.

As a leader in the industry, SIG was first to offer true sub-product type specialization.  Sands Investment Group has offices in Charleston, SC; Santa Monica, CA; Atlanta, GA; and Austin, TX.

SIG was ranked as number two among the 25 finalists.

“We’re honored to be recognized among so many other great companies in South Carolina. We owe our growth trajectory to the amazing clients we get to work with on a daily basis as well as the people within SIG that make it what it is. While we’ve come a long way, we don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon and are excited about continued growth and expansion,” said Chris Sands, founder and CEO, SIG.

To be eligible for the SC 25 Fastest Growing Companies Award, the company must be headquartered in South Carolina and be in business for at least three years and show revenues of more than $3 million. They are judged on the growth of their income over the last three years, and the growth of their employment and pre-taxed income. BDO audits their tax returns and their federal employee tax filings to verify income and employee growth over the period.

Representatives of The Capital Corp., BDO and other sponsors made on-site visits of nominees to interview key personnel and view company operations.

“We had a very strong field this year,” said George Moseley, principal of The Capital Corp.

“We love the opportunity to recognize the growth of South Carolina’s companies,” said Lori Coon, publisher of Columbia Business Monthly, Greenville Business Magazine, and Charleston Business Magazine.

Once all the data is in hand, the selections are made. Winners are notified, but not given their ranking until the awards luncheon.
